What if I have more than 35 students? The two options are to either split the class in half or to let students share a card. Why do you use so many cards? The MIXINTOOLSTM package consists of 257 cards with 8 separate card sets to be used for different numbers of groups. This allows flexibility in class size of 20-35 students and group size of 3-5 students. If there is only one card set the flexibility of the overall set is diminished. What do students do in the groups? MIXINTOOLSTM is a tool that can be used in the classroom to complement activities planned by the teacher. There are suggestions on the applications page of activities which can be applied alongside using the MIXINTOOLSTM. We invite creativity and would like to share ideas that our customers share with us. How long do students spend in any one group? We recommend between 2 minutes and 10 weeks. The time depends on the purpose of the exercise. Why don’t you number the cards? Ordering the cards by colour and/or photos can be more fun.
