My name is Philip O'Neil. I am a statistician living in
Whilst studying statistics in 2002, I learned a statistics technique commonly used for reducing experiment costs that has potential of being used in a social setting. I concluded that this technique was underrated and I decided to explore further as to why nobody seemed to use it for social purposes. I discovered that people had been using it for over 100 years but it was not readily available in a simplified format.
I was inspired by the idea of grouping cards and the MIXINTOOLSTM project has become a growing part of my life. I have used similar cards in networking events and a quiz night but the exciting application of these cards has been the effect they have in the classroom. Helping children improve their social skills is one of the most valuable things that anyone can do for them and I believe that these tools can help. I am looking forward to what the future brings with MIXINTOOLSTM.
